Ingredients
  • Shrimps - 30, large or medium (about 2 pounds unpeeled)
For marinade:
  • Hung curd/Greek yogurt - 3 tbsp
  • Mustard/Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  • Garlic powder - ½ tsp
  • Ginger powder - ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Italian seasoning - 1 & ½ tsp
  • Salt - 1 & ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder - ½ tsp
Instructions
  1. Peel and devein the shrimps. You can retain the tails for a better visual representation. Wash them thoroughly and let all the water drain out.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients of the marinade - curd, oil, ginger & garlic powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, Italian seasoning and salt & pepper. Give a very good mix using a fork or a wire whisk making sure that there is no lump in the curd and you get a smooth mixture.
  3. Once your marinating mixture is ready, drop the washed shrimps into it. Give a good mix so that each shrimp is coated evenly with the marinate on both sides.
  4. Now take 1 bamboo skewer at a time and thread the shrimps one by one. I threaded 3 shrimps per skewer.
  5. Preheat your airfryer at 190 C / 375 F as per your airfryer model setting. Brush the bottom of the basket with oil.
  6. Place the threaded shrimp skewers in a single layer inside the fryer basket once the airfryer is preheated. Airfry them for 8 minutes turning them once halfway through.
  7. Your spicy airfryer shrimp is ready! Serve with your favorite dip on the side along with some fresh salad and enjoy!
